Art Classes
Our art classes are suitable for anyone who has an interest in drawing and painting. This may be for a hobby or for someone trying to improve a technique for their portfolio. We have classes for young people and adults, from the very beginner to the improver, our classes cater for all.

Adult art class with Julia Griffin
10:00 to 12:00 or 13:00 to 15:00
Perfect for beginners and improvers who want the freedom to explore different mediums and techniques. Go at your own pace and receive one-to-one coaching tailored to suit your needs. It's a friendly and informal environment with a focus on enjoying the process & building confidence.

Adult art class with David Reid
10:00 to 12:00
This class caters for beginners to advanced. It is an informal but challenging environment and addresses subjects including well known artists—both contemporary and historical—as well as various techniques and styles. We cover all mediums in class.

Watercolour class with Michelle Winslow
10:00 to 12:00
Learn how to paint with watercolours, suitable for beginners and improvers you will explore various paint techniques hints and tips to create beautiful paintings including still life, seascapes, built environment and portraiture. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
Drama Classes
Drama classes at the Harbour Arts Centre are delivered in partnership with ShowWorks Theatre, the largest drama company in North Ayrshire and a local social enterprise. ShowWorks is passionate about helping young people grow by developing communication skills, fostering teamwork, and learning performance skills. All in a fun and supportive environment! Led by our professional theatre team, sessions give young people the opportunity to build confidence, make new friends, and develop their creativity through engaging drama activities.

The Bear Necessities
19:00 to 21:00
We are a relaxed group that make traditional fully jointed teddy bears. Open to all abilities, even if you’ve never tried bear making before - now is your chance! You can bring your own materials or purchase a starter pack at cost price to start you off.
