This year Our Something for the Summer online festival will provide hours of entertainment for all the family throughout the summer holidays! We’ll have arts and crafts, drama workshops and even a chance to turn detective!

Inspired by Irvine’s own ‘Mr Entertainment', Willie Freckleton, Freckfest has grown from a single weekend in the summer of 2013 to a year long programme of music events, bringing together the very best local talent and established acts from all over Scotland and beyond.
North Ayrshire Open Art
The North Ayrshire Open Art Exhibition is an established event on the Scottish art exhibition calendar which showcases the work of artists living and working in Ayrshire, Scotland and beyond. It has attracted thousands of visitors since the first exhibition in 1996 with many returning each year takes place in the beautiful light and airy setting of the Racquet Hall in the picturesque grounds of Eglinton Park.
Irvine’s Festival of Marymass dates back to the Middle Ages. in August each year locals and visitors alike enjoy a festival fun and pageantry – including the queen and her consorts – with a programme of events for all the family.
Tidelines Book Festival
Tidelines is North Ayrshire’s only independent book festival. Organised by a team of enthusiastic volunteers it takes place over the last week in September each year and is now in its 7th year. The festival caters for all age groups and many different interests and includes fiction and non-fiction and authors from all over the globe.
